The BMW Competition Intercooler Kit EVO III has the following core dimensions (510mm x 303mm x 180mm / stepped, 20,65L)(20Inch x 11,9Inch x 7,09Inch / stepped, 1260,14Inch³) . The high performance intercooler core provides a 133% larger frontal area and 183% more volume compared to the stock mounted intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the endtank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. We use our award winning WAGNERTUNING Competition Intercooler Core which is made specifically for this application. Constructed of the highest quality Tube Fin intercooler cores with inside turbulators combined with cast aluminium endtanks optimised by CFD for best possible internal airflow. The stock click connections have been eliminated and increased to a connection diameter of Ø70mm/2,756Inch ( for In- and Outlet, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties and a lot less pressure drop then the stock intercooler. Despite of it´s size the weight of the complete intercooler is only 13,2kg. This Intercooler Kit is the best choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures and also the right thing for racing.
